A LOT happend in the past 7 months... I quit my terrible job working retail... and guess what... I found out that 9-5 jobs really do exist!! More importantly, I pretty much quit going to the gym all together at that point too. but I started up once again in March... and damn i have some good results!
Lets see, so since my last post i took off 4 months of precious gym time. but in march I decided im gonna put myself in high gear and bust my butt to get those results... LOSE FAT GAIN MUSCLE & LOOK GREAT. Well i havent yet lost as much fat as i hoped, but i definitely gained some good muscle.
Heres a little info for you. your muscles will burn 1 full pound of fat every week per every 10 pounds of muscle.... Look at it this way, I weigh 190 lbs... and i have 100 lbs of muscle 20 lbs of fat and 70 lbs of other stuff (bones, eyes etc.) and this is just an exaple... so every WEEK, just by having that 100 lbs of muscle i will burn 10 lbs of fat! the only problem is, is that i need to crash diet and starve myself for 2 weeks straight eating nothing at all... since we'll all die by doing this, the only thing we can do is eat healthier. Less fatty stuff and more lean. Don't be fooled though, sugar gets broken down and become fat. so even though cotton candy has very few calories, all those grams of sugar will turn straight to pure tire around the belly! and thats why the atkins diet works... carbs turn to sugar, sugar turns to fat thus no carbs = no fat... But you need carbs in your every day diet to live!!!
any way, i know i eat more than 10 lbs of food per week. and it looks like i just need to watch my intake of the Bad stuff. ORRRRR I could just try and build more muscle mass and have my muscle off set the food intake and make that extra fat disappear! Decisions Decisions...
OK enough about that stuff and more about me... sorry for the wicked long post btw. I started going to the gym and have been working out 5 times a week. Mostly in the mornings before work between 5-8 am... sick right?! well its working.
The HARDEST part was getting the routine down... so heres my suggestion. GET A TRAINER for at least 2 MONTHS! this will boost your but to get out of bed and go, and in turn create a habit for you going to the gym in general. I found that if i miss a day at the gym i feel miserable and need to make it up. You become addicted and its the best addiction there is!
