IM BACK! - Did you miss me?!

Okay so it has been exactly 7 months since my last post!!!! WOW... i thought i was just gonna ax this blog all together, but instead im going to give it a jump start.
A LOT happend in the past 7 months... I quit my terrible job working retail... and guess what... I found out that 9-5 jobs really do exist!! More importantly, I pretty much quit going to the gym all together at that point too. but I started up once again in March... and damn i have some good results!
Lets see, so since my last post i took off 4 months of precious gym time. but in march I decided im gonna put myself in high gear and bust my butt to get those results... LOSE FAT GAIN MUSCLE & LOOK GREAT. Well i havent yet lost as much fat as i hoped, but i definitely gained some good muscle.

Heres a little info for you. your muscles will burn 1 full pound of fat every week per every 10 pounds of muscle.... Look at it this way, I weigh 190 lbs... and i have 100 lbs of muscle 20 lbs of fat and 70 lbs of other stuff (bones, eyes etc.) and this is just an exaple... so every WEEK, just by having that 100 lbs of muscle i will burn 10 lbs of fat! the only problem is, is that i need to crash diet and starve myself for 2 weeks straight eating nothing at all... since we'll all die by doing this, the only thing we can do is eat healthier. Less fatty stuff and more lean. Don't be fooled though, sugar gets broken down and become fat. so even though cotton candy has very few calories, all those grams of sugar will turn straight to pure tire around the belly! and thats why the atkins diet works... carbs turn to sugar, sugar turns to fat thus no carbs = no fat... But you need carbs in your every day diet to live!!!

any way, i know i eat more than 10 lbs of food per week. and it looks like i just need to watch my intake of the Bad stuff. ORRRRR I could just try and build more muscle mass and have my muscle off set the food intake and make that extra fat disappear! Decisions Decisions...

OK enough about that stuff and more about me... sorry for the wicked long post btw. I started going to the gym and have been working out 5 times a week. Mostly in the mornings before work between 5-8 am... sick right?! well its working.
The HARDEST part was getting the routine down... so heres my suggestion. GET A TRAINER for at least 2 MONTHS! this will boost your but to get out of bed and go, and in turn create a habit for you going to the gym in general. I found that if i miss a day at the gym i feel miserable and need to make it up. You become addicted and its the best addiction there is!

Starting the Routine!



Hey all, Sorry I didn't post in the past few days, for those of you that have been keeping up. Some really good things have been happening so thats an awesome thing to take into consideration. I have been to the gym working out with various people (you know who you are ;o) ) and i feel great!.

Over the past few days, ive drank a lot of water and took time out to stop and analyze what goes on, on a day to day basis, based upon everything that happened during a typical work shift... those of you who work 8-5 (9-5 people don't really exist...) you wake up, have your coffee, eat something awful for lunch, go home and have dinner, and try to find time ( but never do) for the gym.... THis is WHY AMERICA IS FAT.... TIME TIME TIME!

I get it, we all never have enough TIME to get up off of our buts and hit the gym!!! I felt it yesterday especially, ( but i still made it there) when i went and ran for 20 minutes and then lifted a few weights before I headed into work... I felt GREAT, even though i didn't have enough time to spend the one full HOUR at the gym. Guess what though, the short amount of time I spent there after I woke up, helped me burn calories ALL day long. S0000 everyone whose reading this please take note... If you go to the gym in the AM, right before you eat your fatty bagel, you will burn more calories ALL day long instead of going to the gym after work. This gives you more energy through out the day... SO WAKE UP EARLY AND GO TO THE GYM!!!

Here's to a few readers. THANK YOU for making comments!!! I KNOWwww Chick Fil A wasn't a good choice for lunch, but how hard was it to stay away from that greasy chicken patty?! VERRRRY!!!Especially if your use to eating it every day, work restricts you to it.... and okay, so what I gave into a few snacker thingys here and there, it still wasn't compared to what i'm use to!

I guess All Have to say for the past few days is... Watch what you eat! and keep focused on what you want... In my case and in this blog, my goal is to have the dude posted at the top of this page's body... Ladies enjoy! For the guy readers, and the girls who need motivation from this, I posted one for you too ;o) They're both MAD HOTT
PS. Thats Sean Cassidy for those of you who don't know, i think he may have won the previous poll results... I still love Jessie though LOL.

Okay, aside from chick fil a, Ive had some subs for lunch from d'angelo, I made pasta one night, and of course had ,my all time favorite, RICE KRISPIES mmmmmm. Gotta keep up with the healthy eating and gym going! Let me know if you want to come!!!

Successful Failure



Hey all, today is Wednesday 10/21/09 and it was another day of progress, I think? I must say, i actually feel like this blog writing this is working, even though nobody is actually reading it! Its allowing me to stay more focused on what Im actually eating and doing in order to stay in better shape and work towards my goals. I didn't post anything yesterday, but it wasnt too eventful any way. I did good though. I had an onion bagel with cream cheese and my typical pumpkin spice coffee from dunks... and about 15 munchkins throughout the day.... is that bad? i dint think so... when i got home from work I had a pork chop and just a few picky things and that was it for food. exercising was non existent yesterday either, but I did do a lot of running around work all day!

Today get ready folks, I TRACKED IT ALL! haha I weighed in at 185.2 with my snazzy sneakers and light gym clothes. Again, this is according to my bathroom scale. I ran for 22 minutes and burned about 300 or so calories in the mix of it all! I decided I don't like running on a treadmill, I feel like I would have run longer had i been running to a specific location or i could control my own pace instead of the floor moving from beneath me. Maybe this is why I like the elliptical so much? Can anyone tell me the difference between the two? which one is better for you? well any way, the food thing wasnt too bad either. That is until i cracked and started eating pumpkin seeds like it was my job!

I ate prob like 6 brownies mind u, they're the little bite size ones, a slice of pumpkin pie, 2 cans of coke, a 1/2 bottle of wine, pasta with sauce, and a bunch of beernuts and candy. Blahhh the picking NEEDS to stop!!! I CANT STOP EATING! this has to be some kind of sickness or something! Maybe im just living the American Dream. Is this why America is so fat?! Gahh. Any doctors out there reading this? can you diagnose me with sum sickness. I eat WAYY too much.

Here is what i DONT get... I started out at 188 and now 185, this means Ive lost 2.8 pounds already! No way! I mean, yeah ive been running a bit but does it help that much does it?

Well any way, I do feel better despite all the crap I eat. My new thing is that im gonna give up soda and just start drinking water and once that happens, ill make sure that i drink at least a gallon a day! (dont hold your breath)


Okay now the good stuff. I've been cruising online for some good stuff. and ive come across some hotties thanks to a friend who pointed him out. now its up to u guys to decide. whos hotter? Jessie Pavelka or Sean Cassidy.

The Beginning



Hey guys!
Today I went to the gym! I was a bit intimidated by all them muscly dudes lifiting giant weights and looking flawless! OH HOT DAMN! is what i thought...
I did 30 minutes of cardio on the elliptical and worked on a few of those machines... Nothing too too crazy, but i felt very good after I left!

Okay, so i looked like a moron cuz i have NO CLUE what to do when I go but i know i need to lift something to help develop muscle. Let me know what to do all of you gym people! routine maybe? how much should I lift??? hmmm

So food.... I had....dun dun dunnnnn. A wopper value meal! :o( Im sorrryyy, my sister made me! and then teriyaki chicken over white rice and veggies for dinner. Not bad right?! okay fine I sucked, but Its getting better!
Progress is key right? I snuck in a few snacks too, aka, some ramen noodles, a cookie or 2 and i think thats it! I held beack on the Ice cream today, but i sure do miss it!

okay, sorry about the boring post, but hopefully the pics will help provide some sort of entertainment! Theyre of what i need to look like.

Why do I feel like...Somebody's watching me!!!

Alright folks, here goes! My first post with followers! Kinda excitedddd!!!
Now, lets see how many of you actually will read this! Leave a comment if you do. It can be about reading it or just a piece of advice that might be able to help me!

Okay, so TOMORROW (well today cuz it's past 12 am) Im going to the gym for the FIRST TIME since JULY!!!!! Im very excited/ very nervous cuz i'm not sure what the hell to do for my first time back! eek, lots of running? lifting? gotta get to it! :o)

Now what u really want to hear... What I ate!!! I think I did good today! I went to dunks and got an egg ham and cheese on an everything bagel and washed it down with a large pumpkin spice coffee with equal and skim... Okay, not the BEST breakfast but it wasn't the worst right?? okay fine, i have this like EVERY morning, i should probably change this diet ,if i need to drop the fat and gain the muscle... suggestions? protein bar??? I don't know if i could give up the pumpkin spice coffee though. Fine maybe the PUMPKIN SPICE but not the coffee. well doesn't coffee slow down your metabolism? coffee or no coffee? I mean, I spend enough at teavanna, maybe I should just do tea?? thoughts?

Okay, so that was breakfast..
For lunch, I had some pastaaa mmmmm, with tomato sauce, and no cheese!! not bad huh? and guess what?! I even refrained myself from getting a smoothie. So the no cheese thing. Lets face it all the extra "stuff" adds up. think about it, (I'm gonna put it into terms we can all relate to, and because its so delicious) You go to McDonald's and you get those chicken nuggets with the awesome dipping sauce. so u just eat it all up with every last bit of sauce. mmm... well that sauce, is an EXTRA 50 calories!! My point is, without the EXTRA "stuff" (calories), i can burn more of my own calories instead of the extra ones I ate just by doing NOTHING! its 50 less!

So, breakfast and lunch was good, but dinner kinda made up for the bad stuff. I had 4 Jalapino poppers, 4 mozerella sticks, some pasta salad and salad w/crutons and blue cheese dressing... I totally lost control and went nuts. not to mention the Klondike bar I ate after that! annnnddd I had a cocktail to top it all off.

So where does this leave me? I think im still at square one. No, not the mall, but in my feat to lose weight and gain muscle. But TOMORROW will be the day I hit the gym and start my work out to be a better me!

A day Late A buck short!


Okay, so far I think that only maybe one or 2 people have read this blog but thats okay, Ill keep going.

Its October 17th so its been a few days before I wrote in. over the past few days I did NOTHING to help me reach my goal. I pretty much ate fast food, had midnight snacks, drank some sugary sodas and cant think of any reason how all of that would help.

Well, not only did all of that NOT help me loose weight or gain muscle, but it didnt help me save my money either! Ill show you... on fast food and dining out ALONE since my LAST post I spent $67.38!!!!! YUCK! This includes multiple trips to McDonald's, Wendy's, Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks. and other fast food places.... It's not easy especially when you work in the mall. Im not taking that as an excuse though! I shouldn't have to break the bank to stay fat!

So what?! Its a little incognito, but at least you get the picture! Just take a look though, see the way the teeshirt gets tucked under my belly? Isn't that gross?! Ok, to be fair I'll post a real one for next time.

Next time youll also get an update on my work outs and weight... None of that happend yet! eek 6 months is gonna go by fast!!!

My First Post: "The Background"


Hi, and thanks for taking a look at my new blog. To be honest, I don't even know if i'm doing this right and if anyone will be able to see this just by searching. Who knows I'm doing it for myself anyway and to help inspire anyone who wants to follow me. :o)

Alright, so a little about me.
Right now my "profile" is kind of empty but i figure after reading all of these blog posts
you would already know anything you could ever care for about me...
any way, I'm 23 years old, living in the basement of my parent's house. Already, i can tell your eyes are rolling but it's totally true! I want to write in this blog as much as possible to keep myself motivated and to help myself to stay on track. I never finish anything I start so I'm hoping since people will be able to read this, it will inspire me to continue to follow through with it!

My goal is to lose 40 lbs. of fat, and gain another 50 lbs. of muscle. Because I know if i lose 40 lbs of fat, its going to make me look like a skeleton with a ton of lose skin... YUCK... so anyone who wants to "lose weight" might want to reconsider. Lose fat instead and gain muscle!

Im not any kind of writer as you all can probably tell because my writing i all over the place. But, i do hope you can all follow along, and who knows, maybe my writing organization will become better... is that even a term? I don't know, I think i'm just A.D.D or something...

okay so, Lose 40 lbs of fat gain 50 lbs of muscle. and im giving myself 6 months!

It's October 12, 2009 so this gives me untill April 12, 2010! which should A. Be more than enough time to do this, and B. have me looking great for the awesome warm weather!! :o)

I currently weigh in at 188.2 lbs (with my sweatpants on) according to my bathroom scale, and am 5'11" so im slightly overweight... Losing 40 will bring me to 148.2 which is healthy and gaining the 50 on top of that will bring me to be at my target weight of 198.2 lbs!

So in retrospect im gaining 10 lbs! but i cant wait for the FLAB to be GONE!

Through out my posts I want to keep you updated with what im eating, drinking, and how im extersizing every day to achive my goals. I will also post pictures of myself from beginning to end. I want to see progress! :o)
